Ben has successfully developed a wide range of new TV projects, from pilots and one-off films to landmark series.  He has won commissions for BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4 and Red Bull TV.

Development of ambitious new series for Red Bull TV – a fusion of music and adventure.  Pilot show commissioned 2015.

BBC History (Jan – Sept 2013)

Developing ambitious new history projects for BBC1, BBC2 and co-production ventures.  Creator of landmark BBC2 series ‘Jungle Atlantis’ (TX 2014).

360 Production (Sept 2012 – Jan 2013)

Day-to-day running of development team at award-winning indie.  Work on a variety of history projects for main UK broadcasters.  Creator of Dan Snow’s BBC2 series ‘The Birth of Empire: The East India Company’.

BBC Vision / BBC Sport, Development Producer (March ’12)

Ambitious 3D project with CGI and specialist filming for the 2012 Olympics.

Developing landmark history series.

Developing new formatted medical and science series, as well as follow-up episodes for Pioneer’s blockbuster project, ‘The Big Question’.

Developing new history programmes and series.  Commissions include the landmark BBC1 mini-series ‘D-Day to Berlin’ and the award-winning ‘Black Flash – A History of Black Footballers’ for BBC4.
